Senior UX Researcher (German-speaking)

What is the role about?

The Bitvavo UX team is looking for a seasoned User Experience Researcher to join our growing organisation and support our company aspirations. In this role, you'll join a dynamic and already user-centred UX group, helping us further understand the people we serve with our product and unearth business opportunities based on the insights you create.

We’re obsessed with creating the best user experience we can for our users and as a UX Researcher, you play a very important role in enabling everyone in the organisation to have access to insights that help us make the right decisions and orient our product towards always meeting our user's needs.

How will you make an impact?

• Planning, scoping, conducting, analysing and circulating research insights to relevant stakeholders in product, design, and marketing. You may do this off your own initiative or in response to requests from around the organisation.
• Support in setting research best practices for others to follow, including but not limited to creating guides and templates that enable others such as designers and product managers to run tactical research studies, with you oversight.
• Evaluate, negotiate, and work with external vendors to procure the right toolkit to support the research needs of Bitvavo, including but not limited to planning, recruiting, conducting and indexing tools such as User Interviews, Agencies, Dovetail, HotJar, Miro.
• Be able to articulately describe user problems and business opportunities to a variety of stakeholders by leveraging the quantitative and qualitative insights you source. You craft clear and intuitive reports and care about democratising its access.
• Be the user's voice in every table. You are at the centre of user-advocacy in the organisation.
• Own the Research OKRs and Roadmap ( Generally set by the UX and Product leadership ) along with one other UX Research colleague.
• Collaborate closely with the UX team, being close to the work they do on the product, as an integral member of the team.
• As the Senior Researcher in the team, invest time in coaching and mentoring your colleagues in the same function.

How will you be successful?

• Minimum of 5 years working as a user researcher inside a fast-paced and growing organisation.
• Proficient with quantitative and qualitative research methodologies across the behavioural and attitudinal spectrums, including but not limited to A/B testing, Usability Testing, User Interviews, Focus Groups, Surveys.
• German or Dutch background. Must have a strong cultural acumen of these markets by having exercised the role in a company or project focused on one of these markets, or being a native of one of those demographics.
• Excellent English proficiency, communication and presentation skills.
• Based in The Netherlands or willing to relocate.
• Experience in FinTech is preferred, specially within any blockchain or Web3 related
