Founded in the Netherlands in 2018, our headquarters remain in the heart of Amsterdam, in the beautiful Nine Streets neighbourhood. From here, we bridge the gap between traditional finance and the world of crypto, giving people the tools and confidence to explore new opportunities in this rapidly evolving market.

We focus on building reliable, user-friendly products with transparent fees, a wide range of assets and an intuitive experience. By combining technical innovation with a commitment to trust and sustainability, we have grown into one of Europe’s leading crypto trading platforms.

We are a product-first company. Our product team brings together Product Managers, UX Writers, Localisation Specialists, UX Researchers and Designers, and the team is still growing! By combining creativity with data-driven insights, they shape intuitive solutions that put our customers at the center of everything we build.

Engineering

Engineering is at the core of Bitvavo. From Backend Developers to Latency Engineers and from Platform to Security experts, our engineering team builds the smooth, reliable and fast experience our users rely on. They continuously innovate to ensure performance, reliability and trust.
